a little about me

Donald Jackson

Since the late 1980’s my study and work has been focused on developmental cognition, and cognitive restructuring in children. Understanding visual perception and its relation to cognition is the underlining theme of my artwork.

Each series of work is a study of particular cognitive functions to help me better understand the cognitive affect of visual perception. Through this work, and 32 years of study with 12 years of empirical knowledge in my research studio Color Wheel Studio, I have developed a pedagogy that greatly increases the capacity for the understandings of maths, sciences, and languages, in children.

Art is truly objective.
